Brian Crews is a trademark and copyright attorney. He enjoys working closely with his clients from their first meeting to the successful conclusion of their case.

Background

Before coming to Olive & Olive, Brian spent more than 11 years in the Division of Student Affairs at Duke University. There he worked primarily with student media organizations. This gave him valuable experience and insight into IP topics like FCC compliance, performance and broadcast licensing, copyright, and fair use, contract law, risk mitigation, and student conduct. He had a solo practice before joining our firm.

Off hours

Brian enjoys adventures - big and small - with his wife and two young daughters.

Education

Brian is a graduate of the University of Georgia (B.Ed. 1998, M.Ed. 2000, M.Ed. 2002), and the North Carolina Central University, School of Law Evening Program (J.D. 2013), cum laude.
